It’s important for companies to create an online presence that consumers want to engage with. It not only keeps them coming back, but it also transforms them into advocates for your company. The key to building a powerful brand in part lies in the ability to truly showcase the company’s personality.

In a report “Essential Guide to Branding Your Company,” HubSpot and MOO provide detailed insight on how to make your brand stand out from the crowd. 

Create a brand manifesto.

You need a guide or some other type of verbal declaration that shows your employees and customers your philosophy, beliefs, and values. Make sure your company behavior matches your company’s voice. Creating a great work environment can help people spread your mission and image.

Be clear in your value proposition.

A value proposition is needed to explain why your product is the best. It lists the benefits of your product in a single sentence. 

Share your story.

Write your story. Having a good story is why customers will get behind you. As the report says “After all, people buy from people.”

Don’t be afraid to show your personality.

While these may leave you feeling vulnerable, showing your personality as a brand is key. Create a personality by using your brand’s core personality traits to map out other related characteristics.
