Registration is now open for WP Engine DE{CODE}2022, a free all-virtual event geared towards developers and digital marketers alike interested in building successful websites with WordPress.

You can register for the 4/20 event here and view the full speaker lineup and agenda here.

Don’t miss the e-commerce breakout session, “6 WooCommerce Dev Tricks for Building Fast E-Commerce Websites,” which dives into site speed, traffic, conversions and lower bounce rates.

Page speed and scalability are two of the top reasons why online retailers choose WordPress and, subsequently, the WooCommerce plugin. In fact, 94% of WordPress e-commerce websites incorporate the free tool for a more personalized and superior customer experience, from start to finish.

The open-source WooCommerce platform and related extensions is constantly improving and easily customized. In addition, keeping your site optimized is a key factor to your store’s success.

The time it takes for your page to load cannot be emphasized enough. Over half of customers say they will leave a site (and take their business with them) if they have to wait more than three seconds. And almost 70% of consumers say that page load speed determines whether they’ll buy from that e-commerce store or not.

Another factor to consider is search results. An estimated one-third of e-commerce traffic comes through organic search and due to Google’s page experience update, a positive consumer experience is more important than ever.

Other e-commerce breakout sessions include “Front End: Building Future-Proof E-Commerce Site,” “Building WordPress E-Commerce at Scale,” and “Post E-Commerce Site Launch: Optimizing Your Conversion Rate.”
